The Crown Discounts the Queen

This has been getting a lot of buzz and as a big fan of "The Crown" I had to chime in. Netflix paid Prince Philip more than the Queen! Well the actors that played Prince Philip but you guys get it. I mean really?!?! Claire Foye is ICONIC as the Queen on this show. Her icy looks and dry humor are legendary. She's incredible on this show. Matt Smith is fine as Philip. He does look like Skeletor though. The producers say they paid Smith more because he came into the show with a higher profile than Foye. Eyeroll! Guys, you hired Claire to play the Queen! She is the lead role on this show. What a damn shame. And now this just reminds me that we won't see Claire again on this show since they are recasting the roles as the show jumps ahead several years in time. This teaches us that even the Queen needs to say #TimesUp!
