The Oscars Follow the Script

The Oscars were kind of a snoozefest last night. I'm someone who will watch the show no matter what and be entertained but even I was looking at the clock and in my fridge for more champagne as the night wore on. The major awards were all extremely predictable. The same 4 actors who have swept through awards season won last night. Only Frances McDormand really gave us anything interesting in her speech amongst the actors. Jimmy Kimmel was fine. But there needs to be a new host next year. And hopefully it's Tiffany Haddish! She slayed last night presenting with the also hilarious Maya Rudolph. "The Shape of Water" had the most nominations and won Best Picture so after last years shocking "Moonlight" win it was back to a predictable Oscars night. But we're on to 2019!
